Hunter loves speed, he loves to compete, and he
loves to win. The talented racer is growing up with Vail
Mountain in his backyard and it's no wonder that he is becoming
the USA's next great promise. Following in his sister Sarah
Schleper's steps, his sights are set on surpassing her career with
World Cup victories in all events and Olympic medals. Hunter goes
big. He can pull maneuvers in the park that would make Tanner Hall
turn his goggles. He has a heart for big cliffs and deep powder.
This kid is going places. Aside from skiing Hunter is passionate
about wakeboarding. Spending nearly every summer on Watab Lake,
Minnesota, Hunter has turned wakeboarding from hobby into contest.
His run includes an "air raily," "540," and numerous flips. When he
is not on the snow or in the water his Pa is putting him to work
carrying wood, laying rock, or digging holes, true to the "Rocky
Balboa" style of conditioning. Hunter has everything to take him to
the top: experience, passion, and spunk. Watch as he navigates the
ruts and battles the gates on his way to the World Cup.
